Fashion is not an isolated factor of clothing but a connection to our lifestyle, personality and various cultural heritage which redefines ones personal identity. Just as fashion is seen as a signal of personal identity, it can also have influence both socially and psychologically. Fashion can be classified into different types Style, Basic or Classic, Trends, Fad and Fashion Forecasting.

According to editorial policy of fashion theory, the journal of dress body and culture defines fashion as “ The Cultural Construction of Embodied identity which encompasses both street styling, fashion created by designers and couturiers”. These can be showed through fashion shows where fashion stories can be communicated either by Formal Fashion shows or Informal Fashion shows.

Fashion is a changing trend with a great definition of trial and error, what was considered Fashionable a few decades back might be synonymous to killing fashion. Oleg cassini; a reported French born designer quotes “ Fashion anticipate and elegance is a state of mind a mirror of time in which we live a translation of the future and should never be static.”

Fashion designers and Pattern makers create fashion and accessories sometimes according to the culture of a tribe or country. Just as culture is a diverse so is fashion therefore various fashion designer and pattern makers have their different concept and ideas in creating a chic. People that create and wear culture related fashion most times have the mindset to educate and showcase cultural identity.

Culture is beauty and different styles defines culture. In Nigeria there are a lot of amazing cultural heritage and attires but the most identified falls into the 3 major ethnic group which are the Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa.

IGBO’S : The Igbo men traditional attire in the ancient days was just wrapper and was decorated with ULI BODY of different shapes and designs but the modern traditional attire for Igbo men is called ISIAGU mostly worn when collecting their Chieftaincy title with a pair of trousers and title holder’s hat or Okpu Agwu. For women puffed sleeved blouse along with two wrappers and head tie.

YORUBA’S : They take pride in their attire and have very wide range of clothing materials. The most basic being the Aso-Oke a hand loomed cloth of different patterns and colors sewn into various styles. They also have OFI, ARAN, ADIRE.

HAUSA’S: They are men are identified by their elaborate flowing gown known as Baba Gida and huluna whereas their women wrap around robe called “Abaya” with a matching blouse, headtie and henna designs on their hands.

Despite the diversity in cultural heritage, fashion has found a way to bring togetherness where people wear different attires without putting in mind the tribe.

The color "White", is known for its uniqueness, it could be defined as "Purity"  in the fashion world. In the world of fashion, White color can come in form a gown which could be a wedding a gown or a proper dinner gown. it can also be modernized into a suite wear which could be lovely.  White color could be used in different ceremonies but the most common are wedding or burial. The Igbos take white color cloth as a mourning clothe which shows sign of respect and sadness of a great loss, for wedding everyone sees white color cloth worn by the bride as sign of purity. In this 21st century white color material have been modernized and re created to a more fashionable wear where people put them on to look more stunning and lovely. In as much as white color makes one look outstanding and attractive it has its own troubles for example is difficult to maintain the color when  you don't own your car people tend to find it difficult to handle it when you hve to jump from one bus to another because it requires alot carefulness to avoid stains. People find it difficult to wear because it requires alot of washing and drying which they believe makes any white color material inferior and difficult to maintain. Some people complain about the color in wears because they think finding the best accessories is very difficult and it requires alot of boldness and neatness to grace occasions with it.
People have their different opinions about the color "White" but for me is one of the creativity and uniqueness of fashion.

Beautiful moments were shared with their friends, family, and well-wishers as Bibi and Tj tie the knot in traditional and in church. The couple walked down the aisle and said yes to forever after dating for 6 years as Bibi looked gorgeous in her three bridal outfits and then her groom was equally in his best.
The couple met on Facebook and their loved continued till now.om the church ceremony to the reception, the #HeartBiT18 ceremony was a hit with lots of fun. Gelstyles.blogspot.com gives the story of how their love started.
How We Met
By the bride, Bibi
The day that I met you was the beginning of the rest of my life. Who knew a silly Facebook message would turn into so much more? 6 years later and I just now owned up to you that I actually sent the first message after several years of lying. Welp! When I met you I didn’t understand just how much you would come to mean to me, just how much we would become connected and inseparable. The funny thing about our beginning was that we began as friends, and it turned into much much more.
We were approximately  3,000miles and a 6hrs flight apart for more than 5years of our relationship and even that did not stop God’s plan for us. People don’t believe me when I say, there were times I only got to see you twice in a year. (College kid problems coupled with my overly protective siblings). They always say that if you fall in love with your best friend that you are one of the lucky ones. I was never one that was up on my luck, but when I met you, I became one of the lucky one

I am a thirty-something-year-old single woman. Actually, I just turned the big 3-0 a few months ago. I love romance. I love relationships. I love love; this has led me to adjudge myself a hopeful romantic. I moved to a new city a little over a year ago, and my dating life has been nonexistent. Until a few months ago.
After I broke up with my ex, four years before this big move, I locked up my heart and threw away the key. I could not trust men for anything. I was done. The whole break up saga pushed me closer to God, and I wasn’t willing to settle for any man less than the one God had for me.
Anyway, fast forward a couple of months after the demise of my relationship, I was at a friend’s birthday party when this excellent looking guy walked in. I definitely know how to spot a handsome guy, which was what landed me in the mess I found myself in in the first place.
Party crush was fresh, had this glowing brown skin. He wore a plaid long sleeve shirt, denim pants, and brown drivers. Was he a friend to the hosts of the party? A friend of a friend? Other girls at the party couldn’t take their eyes off him as well. He was a breath of fresh air. I almost melted away when he commanded my attention, with one hand resting on the tip of my shoulder, gently asking me (a complete stranger), where my friend was. I answered, doing backflips in my mind, thinking: OMG! OMG! Our paths just crossed, could he be the one? I know, I know, I thought I was done with men; but I also thought I had seen all of God’s beautiful creation until I came in contact with party crush. My friend’s husband, being the sharp guy that he was, introduced me to party crush. After exchanging hellos, that was it.
As soon as things started winding down, I hurried to my friend’s side, asking her to give me everything about who this bloke was. She went: Oh, you are interested in him? Of course, I was. Had she seen him? She wore a concerned look on her face. I thought, ‘Oh, oh, here we go again. This one may not be good for me. Why are all the fine guys always bad boys?’
I heard her say, “He is a solid Christian.” What? “That’s not an issue now,” I replied. She continued “He doesn’t even go for parties where they have the lights off.” But that was the kind of man I was looking for, abi she didn’t believe in my own brand of Christianity? My thoughts back to her. One of my friends teased, saying, Abi, Evi, you go for parties where they are offing light?
Then she came up with the real reason: he only dated exotic looking girls. He did not like being hooked up and there were a lot of girls who were dying on top his matter in church.
“Ah! You just dissed me oh,” I told her. Still, she agreed to hook me up and asked that I send some pictures. I went to one of my friends to help me select the very best ones. You know, the photos where I was slaying, so I could forward them for a possible chance to be chosen, (like the contestants on the dating show The Bachelor) and she said to me, “Evi, you are beautiful, you don’t need to be doing all this for a man, the right one will come.” Yea yea yea! They were words of wisdom but I still sent the pictures. No dulling!
I can’t remember if the matchmaker forwarded them, but Mr. Christian Guy, aka Party Crush, and I never amounted to anything.
That was three years ago. Since I moved to a new city, I hadn’t even been on one date. Or come in contact with a man as handsome as Party Crush. Well, I was used to being by myself, so it wasn’t a big deal. I barely went out, my brother continually teasing that the man I was looking for would knock on my door one day (wouldn’t that make for a Disney fairytale story?). Then on the one year anniversary of my moving to a new city, I went out on a date. The first date in four years. Yes, guys, it has been hard out here in these streets.

Superstar actress Rita Dominic, 43 was asked the marriage question on TVC‘sYour View and she responded brilliantly.
“At the end of the day, if I’m going to do it, I’m doing it for myself not that the society wants me to do it. I always will still say; I will marry the man of my dreams and not the man the society dreams for me.
Society feels there’s something wrong with you if you’re a certain age and you’re not married. What if it’s the society something is wrong with? For forcing someone to do what they don’t want to do?” she said.
She also opened up about almost getting married, but said she’s happy it didn’t work out because she “saw the signs”. She said:
I almost married someone. We were there. We were at that point. It didn’t work out and I’m happy it didn’t work out because I saw the signs.
You know how you see the signs and you just ignore it hoping the person will change. Look, a grown man and a grown woman cannot change. They can find a way to live with each other and respect each other’s feelings, but to change a grown person is difficult.
Rita also spoke about rebranding and continually improving yourself as an actor, especially in a super-fast growing industry like Nollywood.
